What are the core principles your program is based on?
Our programs are firmly imbedded in building core values, deep seeded ethics, inviolate principles, remarkable character, and setting the foundation for developing what we call an unbreakable “Inner Moral Core”
“The best reason to do the right thing today is tomorrow” – Jerry Freishtat
Why does my child need a coach?
At the confidence factory we teach what is not taught in school. We prepare our youth for the real world. Children today face numerous challenges—academically, socially, and emotionally—that can impact their confidence and ability to succeed. At the confidence factory we give real live situational coaching and personalized guidance to help your child develop essential life skills, build resilience, and unlock their full potential, preparing them to navigate life’s complexities with confidence.
“I never let schooling get in the way of my education” – Mark Twain
What is the difference between coaching and therapy?
Coaching is focused on getting real measurable results and accomplishments for the future. It is a bridge between potential and performance. As a result, it is more goal focused, time-limited and solution-oriented. As opposed to counselling which is more about healing from the past. Therapist work on the “why” and at the Confidence Factory we work on the “how”. Therapists, psychologists and psychiatrists work with more complex mental health issues such as suicidal ideation, eating disorders, ticks, self-harm and traumas. Coaching is not appropriate for these aforementioned mental health issues.
“The best way to predict the future is to create it” – Abraham Lincoln
What outcomes can you anticipate?
Our foundation program “Run with the Cheetahs” will engage your child in a new methodology of thinking with a growth mindset. You can expect a more positive outlook, an understanding of the climb to success, improved relationships and inner confidence that will evolve to developing an unbreakable inner moral core. You will see positive changes in their prey drive, stress level and their self-esteem.
“It’s not the big that eat the small… It’s the fast that eat the slow” – Coach Micheal Burt
How long does it take to see positive results?
Short term results are immediate through curiosity and motivation. However, long term results to engrain the content to the sub conscious mind is a process that would require our complete introductory 5 season program. Our students who become “Certified Cheetahs” will learn how to maintain this growth mindset mentality for a lifetime.
“You don’t need to see the whole staircase to take the first step” – Martin Luther King
What methodologies is my coaching based on?
The programs at the Confidence Factory have been formulated by Coach Micheal Burt and Coach Jerry Freishtat. It is based on complete accountability for oneself and that the responsibility to succeed is an outcome that is determined by work ethic, a deep desire to win and the resilience to endure pain and suffering during the process. We teach that failure is just an opportunity to learn and nothing great happens without confronting risk and fear. The foundation program is based on Freishtat’s book “Run with the Cheetahs” which teaches the “how’s” to live an extraordinary life.
“The first-place sheep is miles behind the last place Cheetah” – Jerry Freishtat
